Labrador Technology ( announced today that it has been selected to develop IT standards for a leading global luxury goods company, for a store planning and construction initiative. The client is an international corporation that represents many of the world's leading brands in the field of luxury goods.

Labrador will develop and document IT infrastructure standards that will result in a uniform store planning process, making growth and physical store expansion seamless. Standardizing store planning will streamline the build process, create a clear set of IT requirements and result in significant savings through material manufacturer bulk purchasing. In addition, a clear set of requirements, considerations and responsibilities for IT will help to keep vendors accountable, elucidate who does what and when, and close gaps in communication between departments. Moreover, it will reduce the time commitment from staff, particularly IT and facilities, in future store roll-outs. And creating a corporate handbook for store builds will enable easier network and systems configurations and administration for each location.
