The Relay For Life Releases The Event Schedule And The Made In America Store Will Be Sponsoring A Team And Ricky Lee For The Event

The American Cancer Society will be hosting Relay For Life 2012 on Friday, June 15th. The event made to raise money and awareness gives donors a chance to visit different vendors, participate in numerous activities and has a schedule to keep the entertainment going all night long.

Friday, June 15, Is Relay For Life. A charity event from the American Cancer Society, the Relay For Life 2012 has over 55 participating teams who have raised money to bring awareness and help fight cancer. The event hosts multiple vendor food and retail vendors, live entertainment, great games, basket raffles and a schedule of different activities all event long. Part of the events and live entertainment is Made In America Store’s Ricky Lee, a Nashville Recording Artist.

Relay For Life officially starts at 5pm and goes until 1am, with opening ceremonies from the Iroquois High School Marching Band at 4:50pm. Right at 5pm there will be a Welcome Address from the co-chairs and Guest Emcee from Country 106.5 WYRK’s, Craig Mathews. The National Anthem will be done by Iroquois High School Swing Choir and Color Guard will be provided by Jamison Road Fire Company.

At 5:20pm Made In America Store’s Ricky Lee will be singing “Happy Birthday” to the survivors, followed by a Survivor’s Lap. The Survivor’s Lap is led by the Iroquois High School Marching Band and is to honor all the survivors from 2003 to 2012. At 5:30pm Ricky Lee will be singing a dedication to the caregivers of the survivors.

6:00pm presents the Iroquois High School Jazz Ensemble and is the Birthday Lap where participants can wear party hats, birthday pins and carry balloons!
6:30pm is the Introduction of Miss Relay Contestants 2012 where 103.3 WEDG, The Edge, helps lead participants in voting for Miss Relay. Participants will each have a purse and represent their team. They will then try to raise as much money they can during their lap.
6:45m is the Dare 2 Dance Lap and there will be Country Line Dancers.
7:45pm is the Glamour Girl Lap, where participants will wear boas, wigs and try to glam themselves up. This lap is also led by Miss Relay.
8:00 marks the time when the Made In America Store’s Ricky Lee will be performing live with Matt Pletcher to lead the American Spirit Lap. During this lap, participants will be wearing the red, white and blue.
9:30pm will mark the Fight Back Ceremony led by Master Chong’s Tae Kwon Do.
10pm is the Luminaria Ceremony Dedication. At this time Ricky Lee will be performing a song, honoring the memory of Patricia Daley and Donna Eno. Mary & Jeff Kamien will be performing an acoustic set, a gun salute from Sgt. Rademacker Rifle Squad and bag pipes from Danny McCue.
10:45pm Ricky Lee & Matt Pletcher will be back on stage with Fireworks from Skylighters of WNY at 11pm.
11:30pm Depends On The Day will be performing live to lead the ‘Spic and Span’ Lap, which is dedicated to cleaning up the track from the event.
12:30am is closing ceremonies and the Grand Finale and Closing Address.
