Dr. Mark Levy of Columbus, OH was among the approximately 100 dentists, physicians, and respiratory therapists who attended the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines (ACSDD) national conference at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ April 20-21, 2012. The conference’s title “Let’s Talk Appliances” explored the use of oral appliances to treat obstructive sleep apnea, focusing on current research and featured many of the country’s most distinguished practitioners of dental sleep medicine.
Dr. Mark Levy of StoneRidge Dental Care in Gahanna is one of Central Ohio’s most experienced dentists in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea using oral appliance therapy. He has treated hundreds of patients and is a frequent lecturer and teacher to other dental professionals. He is passionate about educating the public about the dangers of sleep apnea and making sure that patients understand the disease and the available treatments for this sleep disorder. The ACSDD’s bi-annual conferences are designed for dentists and other practitioners of all relevant specialties.
