Rising Star Emerges on TNT's Rizzoli and Isles

Canadian actor Adam Tsekhman has landed a role on the TNT drama hit, Rizzoli and Isles. The crime drama, based on a series of mystery novels by Tess Gerritsen, stars Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander.

Tsekhman also plays the lead role in the feature film Piece of Mind, premiering on June 30th at the Manhattan Film Festival, in New York City. This success follows a role in the season premiere of How I Met Your Mother (CBS), with Jason Segal and Neil Patrick Harris, and the season finale of NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS). The previous year saw Tsekhman appear on Flash Forward (ABC) with Joseph Fiennes, in addition to a guest-starring role on the series finale of 24 (Fox) starring Kiefer Sutherland.

Adam Tsekhman is a native of Winnipeg, Canada. Tsekhman obtained an undergraduate finance degree from the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He then changed course and decided to pursue acting. He now also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Acting from Columbia University in New York City. Rizzoli and Isles will air on June 19th.
