Competitive Kickball Makes its Debut in San Diego - The Circuit Presents the San Diego Kickball Open

The Circuit, the only national, professional tour of top-flight, competitive kickball tournaments, will host its eighth tournament of the year on July 7 in San Diego, California. The 1st Annual San Diego Kickball Open (SDKO) will feature the top Circuit teams from the West going head-to-head at Carmel Valley Recreation Center for Circuit Cup points, a shot at the SDKO title and a number of cash prizes.

“One of the newest events to The Circuit, the San Diego Kickball Open is quickly establishing itself as a proving ground for up-and-coming teams,” said Matthew Kemph, Founder/CEO of Kickball365. “The competitive kickball teams in the West and Southwest have continued to improve this year, and the SDKO is another chance for them to go head-to-head and see who comes out on top. It’s a wide open field and it’s going to be very fun to watch.”

This is the first year the SDKO is a Kickball365 Circuit Event and is the eigth stop of The Circuit 2012. It is expected to draw more than 15 teams and 250 players from across the country. After the SDKO, Circuit teams will go on to compete over the coming months to earn official Circuit Cup points at events across the country. Those points earned will be used to determine the seeding for the true ultimate championship at the conclusion of the year, the Circuit Cup Championship presented by Complete Discovery Source. The Champion of the Circuit Cup will win $10,000 and the top sixteen (16) teams will also receive cash prizes. The full 2012 schedule can be found at http://www.ThisIsKickball.com.
