One Man’s Journey in Life Through God

Calvin L. Bender had simple, yet powerful inspiration for writing his new book, “My Journey of Life with God: Poverty to Prosperity” (published by Trafford Publishing, January 2012), stating simply, “God.”

“I wanted to share with other people what I went through for Him in order for my life to change,” Bender explains. “My Journey of Life with God” is about Bender’s life as he overcame his own struggles in life, growing into the strong individual he is through his Father.

“Everyone has problems and issues, but not everyone knows how to deal with them,” tells Bender. “This is how I dealt with them.”

Like for instance when things really went downhill with my dad and I after I told him that God was calling me to be a minister. I could see the look of whatever all in his face after I told him one night on my granny’s front porch. He was the second family member and one of the first people I told period since God revealed this revelation to my own spirit. Well it was not long after that I felt in my spirit that it was time to leave “Colorado” City, and that something was about to happen.

“We are at war. But the enemy is looking right at us as we stand in the mirror.”
