Hudson Valley, NY (PRWEB) June 14, 2012
Daser Restaurant Group, licensed franchisee for SONIC Drive-Ins throughout the Hudson Valley, announces a major management and strategic makeover.
With a renewed focus on customer service and 3 SONIC Drive-Ins operating in Kingston, Newburgh, and Wappinger Falls, Daser Restaurant Group has replaced the management in all 3 stores as well as its Director of Operations.
According to new Director of Operations, Paul Buonavolonta “We listened to what our customers were saying and determined a change was necessary. We have cleaned house and implemented a reinvigorated culture of customer-first service.”
Today, SONIC is the largest chain of drive-in restaurants in America. Specializing in made-to-order fast food, SONIC is known for its specialty menu items and personal service. For more than 50 years, SONIC Corp. has built a dominant position in the drive-in restaurant business. SONIC did it by sticking to what made drive-ins so popular in the first place: made-to-order American classics, signature menu items, speedy service from friendly Carhops and heaping helpings of fun and personality.
“There is a SONIC culture that sets us apart from other concepts,” said Buonavolonta, “it is incumbent upon us to provide an exceptional experience that includes delivering the great food directly to the customers cars with our unique and friendly carhop service.”
The local SONIC teams have also revamped their local store marketing and community involvement. A new daily texting program has been launched that sends exclusive offers directly to participants’ cell phones. The text offers are timely as well as deeply discounted. Customers looking to participate in the texting program need only to text “sonicny” to 876642 to start receiving offers. They are also actively connecting with their customers on Facebook (http://www.facebok.com/SonicNY), and through their website (http://www.sonicofny.com) where a calendar of events and other useful information is available.
In addition, SONIC is working diligently with local causes including schools and charities to help those groups raise money through on-lot events and other community programs.
“We are locally owned and operated. Many of our employees have children in or are otherwise involved with the local schools and have personal interest in local events. Through our community first program and other programs like Limeades for Learning, we are continually supporting local interests.”
Lastly, through new and improved menu items like the 6” beef hot dog and Real ice cream, as well as discounted daily specials like ½ price shakes after 8 PM, SONIC is making a strong push to be a local favorite.
SONIC is all about feeding customers' desire for choices. The “made-when-you-order” menu includes items you won't readily find elsewhere. SONIC features a diverse selection of sandwiches and frozen treats in addition to burgers, fries and sodas offered at traditional quick-service restaurants. At SONIC, customers can choose from eight different burgers to healthy alternatives such as the Grilled Chicken Sandwiches on Whole Wheat or signature selections, like Footlong Quarter Pound Coneys, Tater Tots, and hand-made Onion Rings. Drink choices also abound to take customers well off the beaten path.
