Care Communications, Inc. Announces Four New Leadership Positions Due to Double Digit Growth

Positions to lead continued growth in research support, cancer registry, recruitment and sales

Care Communications, Inc. (CARE) a national health information management consulting and outsourcing services firm, announced today the creation of four executive positions to lead growth and an expanding portfolio of services. The positions are being filled by the promotion of four tenured staff.

“Care Communications has experienced a period of significant growth, expanding 26 percent in 2011 with continued growth in 2012,” said Leslie Fox, MA, RHIA, FAHIMA, CEO of Care Communications. “CARE has a long history of responding to the needs of our clients and is reorganizing to address the market demands for health information management services.”

Care Communications staff members promoted into executive positions include:

  • Nancy Coffman-Kadish, MS, RHIA, FAHIMA, fills the position of Vice President and General Manager, Research Services. CARE’s unique approach to medical record procurement and abstraction has resulted in large scale research services growth.
  • Laurie Hebert, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P, CTR, fills the position of Vice President and General Manager, Cancer Registry Services. One of CARE’s faster growing divisions, Cancer Registry services have been expanded to meet the increasingly rigorous standards imposed on cancer programs.
  • Barbara Black, MBA, SPHR, fills the position of Chief Talent Officer. CARE’s investment in recruiting and retaining the very best talent has helped propel the firm to one of Chicago’s “101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” since 2008.
  • Roberta Peters, MS, RHIA, fills the position of Vice President of Sales. Peters will be promoting an expanded set of HIM services designed to help clients address their toughest data quality challenges.

Executive leadership also includes Kathy Johnson who was promoted in 2011 and serves as CARE’s Data Quality and Coding Compliance Vice President and General Manager.
