Ladera Ranch, CA (PRWEB) June 14, 2012
180Fusion, recognized as the #1 SEO Services provider in the nation, has joined the fight to end prostate cancer by sponsoring the Dash for Dad 5K race and fundraiser in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 16th in conjunction with the Prostate Cancer Research Institute (http://www.PCRI.org) and the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge 2012. All proceeds from the race will go to ZERO – The Project to End Prostate Cancer and their mission of eliminating prostate cancer deaths with research, advocacy and awareness.
Dash for Dad races will take place in 36 cities across the country, and will have close to 16,000 people running to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer. 180Fusion is pleased to not only be sponsoring the race, but joining as a participant.
“Prostate cancer affects 1 in 6 men and will kill almost 30,000 men this year. I am proud to support our local community in joining this national effort to improve the quality of men’s lives by supporting research and disseminating information that educates and empowers patients, families and the medical community”, said Scott Cohen, CEO of 180Fusion.
"Prostate cancer is a man's disease that men don't like to talk about. We believe it's time to start talking. Prostate cancer affects the same number of men as breast cancer affects women and yet it receives half the funding. We would like to thank 180Fusion for sponsoring our Southbay event and joining in the fight to end prostate cancer,” said PCRI COO Cathy Williams.
