Stay Aspen Snowmass Announces Snowmass Lodging Packages for G4 Weekend

The G4 Weekend in Snowmass Village, Colorado will be held June 22 – June 24, 2012. For interested event-goers, Stay Aspen Snowmass has a package deal for this summer weekend. The G4 Weekend is packed with three event-filled days centering around four Gs: gravity, guitars, gondolas, and games. The weekend begins on Friday, June 22 with the Goldsprint Series on Snowmass Mountain, and it is the first downhill mountain bike race in a series of seven races held throughout the summer in Snowmass. There are cash prizes for first, second, and third place finishers in the mountain biking race. Later that day on June 22 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., there will be a live musical performance by 'DJ Ronnie' with Cole St. Peter on drums. On Saturday, June 23, two free mountain bike experience clinics will be held, the first at 9:30 a.m. and the second at Noon. Registration and insurance are required for the mountain bike clinics. Camp Snowmass is hosting at Kids Zone from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., featuring a bounce house, face painting, and discounts on Euro Bungy jumping. Also from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., there will be a Beer Garden set up in Snowmass Village with all proceeds benefiting Challenge Aspen. The afternoon of June 23 winds down with a live musical performance from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. by David Jacobs-Strain, an indie-blues musician famous for his slide guitar skills.
