New Jersey (PRWEB) June 17, 2012
Financial reality: Autism New Jersey may be faced with having to cut its free 800.4.AUTISM helpline and related services.
Rockin' for Autism: Save the Helpline Benefit Concert is presented by New Jersey-based touring band Tasting Grace as part of its "We Rock to Make Difference" campaign. Autism has touched so many lives and Tasting Grace is no exception. Singer Jenna Grace Milano's nephew, Austin, a 7-year old boy from Egg Harbor Township, NJ, was diagnosed with autism at a very young age. Children with autism respond well to music, and Austin is a perfect example of this. He loves music and is one of Tasting Grace's biggest fans. Miss Milano grew up in the Atlantic City area and this event gives her the opportunity to return home to perform live for the first time ever while giving back to her community. Hosted by Cousin Mario's this event is an outdoor festival format and appropriate for all ages. The event starts at 5:00pm est and will be filled with live music from local, regional and national artists, magic, comedy, and many other fun activities for children and adults.
