Foundation’s Art Show Raises Record Funds for Medical Center

Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation’s Annual Event Benefits Patient Care

Art aficionados and supporters of Raritan Bay Medical Center (RBMC) alike made this year’s Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation – “Inspirations: A Celebration of Art & Spring” annual art show reception the most successful ever, raising more than $60,000 for the medical center’s Wilentz Patient Care Center.

Guests looking to enjoy an elegant night out enjoyed the chic event at RBMC’s Perth Amboy location, complete with live music by the Victor Quezada Jazz Trio, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and wine tasting provided by Joe Canal’s Discount Liquor. As part of a special tribute during the evening, all chairs and honorees from the last 15 years were honored, including; the late Donna Sewitch, Nathan & Norma S. Witkin, Frank M. & Theresa J. Sinatra, Barbara Booz, Constance A. Elek, Rozalia Czaban, Ardith Hodes, Thomas P. Ward, Carol S. Hila, Deborah A. Chalfin, EJ Davis and Irene Conte. “We are so happy to support our community and honor our past chairs, who have given so much back to our community,” said Executive Vice President, Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation Nancy Barone.

The works of local artists, including; EJ Davis, Lauren Andreola, Amy Brooks, Connie Elek, Fran and Rich Eber, Lois Griffin, Cabbar Komek, John S. Masi, Paul Moran,Michele Mastrangelo, Jodi Ann Mullaney, Susan Schaffer, Margaret Smolarski, Sand Stones, Linda LaStella, Silver Lady, Carolyn Opderbeck and Phyllis Wilkinson were showcased along with works from Woodbridge, Perth Amboy and Old Bridge school district art students.
