Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) June 19, 2012
Statistics show that search engines are the number one place that prospective patients look when trying to find a Vancouver chiropractor, physiotherapist, massage therapist, or dentist. To better help prospective patients connect with healthcare professionals, Connect the Doc has recently upgraded ‘clinic’ and ‘doc’ profiles so that they are SEO optimized. “When prospective patients are trying to learn more about a practitioner, they Google them” says Nadeem Kassam, CEO of Connect the Doc. “We want to make sure that the practitioners on Connect the Doc are showing up on the first page of Google. The information within each doc and clinic profile is designed to help prospective patients get a true understanding of what the practitioner and clinic are all about, so it is important for our network of clinics and docs to be among the top search results on Google.” Profiles on CTD are free for all healthcare professionals in North America and include a photo gallery, testimonials, and several different text sections.
Connect the Doc completed developments for their first release in November and shortly thereafter deployed the “Book Now” button as part of their second release. In addition to the changes made to the ‘Doc’ and ‘Clinic’ profiles in their most recent development sprint, Connect the Doc made some backend changes to help the search results load 40% faster. This summer the CTD development team will begin coding for their third release.
