Dallas, TX (PRWEB) June 20, 2012
The NBA Finals excitement is contagious and many kids will want to learn to play basketball this summer. Kids in North Texas will have an advantage because there is a week-long NBA training camp in their city. More than 38,000 kids have attended the Mavericks annual Hoop Camp since its inception 18 years ago. This year’s summer camps run weekly, beginning the first week of June through the middle of August.
The camps are held in different locations around the Dallas Metroplex. North Dallas Moving and Storage partners with the Mavericks each weekend to move the equipment to the next week’s location. NDMS Drivers and movers donate their time and trucks to transport and set up all of the portable hoops and other equipment used during the camps.
“This is just one way we are able to give back to the community,” says Brandon Morris, President of North Dallas Moving and Storage. “Our movers and drivers really enjoy helping the Mavericks put on this camp each year.”
The Mavs 2012 Hoop Camp is the only authentic NBA instructional camp in the Metroplex. The camp is open to boys and girls of all skill levels from ages 8-18. Enrollment is limited to insure personal attention for each camper with a coach to player ratio of 10:1.
