Williston, VT (PRWEB) June 15, 2012
The competitive intelligence firm Fletcher/CSI has recently completed a survey study on “Healthcare Reform Preparedness” which examines the preparations the Health Care Insurance industry has made for the changes mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Insight into insurance providers’ plans for these changes is especially timely with the Supreme Court decision on the constitutionality of PPACA expected by the end of the month.
The survey asked health insurance executives to rate their organizations on the level of preparedness for the implementation of the PPACA set to begin in 2014, including steps their companies have already taken in anticipation of the changes, steps they plan on taking, and how they assess their own readiness for PPACA against that of their competitors. “Regardless of the outcome of the Supreme Court ruling, these survey results identify the ways that health plans are developing strategies to respond to the changing environment,” said Erik Glitman, CEO of Fletcher/CSI.
Survey results will be available at the America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Institute 2012 Conference in Salt Lake City, June 20-22, 2012. The annual AHIP Institute Conference focuses on the decisions that shape our nation’s health care plans. Joe Kelly of Fletcher/CSI will deliver the survey results.
