Ft. Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) June 15, 2012
Parkson Corp. is consolidating the operations of its Middle East group into the international division to optimize the delivery of its exciting new treatment technologies to the rest of its customer base in other parts of the world.
“In the past few years, we have made very big strides to update and improve the products we are offering, especially to Middle East customers,” said Michael Lamminen, Director of International Business at Parkson. “Now we want to focus on bringing Parkson’s efficient and cost-effective technologies to other key markets we serve.”
Under the consolidation, Parkson’s international group in Fort Lauderdale will take over the duties of the Dubai office. The shift allows for greater collaboration to continue marketing Parkson’s exciting technologies in the Middle East and elsewhere.
“We have built a strong network of sales and service partners across the Middle East,” said Roland Mueller, General Manager of Parkson’s operation in the Middle East. “We remain committed to this region, and the shift will not affect our ability to ensure the same level of service.”
Since opening in 2007, Parkson’s office in Dubai has enjoyed considerable success, especially in delivering environmentally-conscious package systems to industrial customers. More recently, Parkson has seen soaring demand in the Middle East for MaximOS™ disinfection systems and the newly redesigned DynaSand® EcoWash™ filtration system.
“Our experience in the Middle East is invaluable to Parkson as we look to deliver cost-effective technologies to more customers around the world,” said Shamus Hurley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkson.
One major achievement of the Dubai office was to collaborate on the design and construction of a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. The success of the membrane bio-reactor facility is an example of Parkson’s depth of knowledge on treatment processes and systems integration.
Parkson’s newly consolidated international unit will be led by Michael Lamminen, and its offices will be located in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters.
