Greenberg Traurig, LLP, an international law firm, was part of the winning deal team on four awards at the 2nd Annual ACG New York Champion’s Awards. The awards recognize companies, professional service firms, individual dealmakers and transactions in the mergers & acquisitions industry in the New York area.

The firm won in the Energy category for its role in representing Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (TIAA) and Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) in a joint venture with Edison Mission Energy to make wind farm investments.

The firm also won in the Middle-Market Deal of the Year (Between $50mm and $100mm), Corporate/Strategic Acquisition of the Year (Between $5mm and $100mm) and Professional Services (B-to-B) categories for its role in the acquisition of Ranger International Services Group, Inc. by Berger Group of Companies.

In addition, Greenberg Traurig deals were selected as finalists in the following categories: Middle-Market Deal of the Year (Over $250mm); Middle-Market Deal of the Year (Between $50mm and $100mm); Professional Services (B-to-B).
