Knoxville, Tenn. (PRWEB) June 19, 2012

PerfectServe, the leading platform for intelligent clinical communications services, has named human resources industry leader, Robin Borg, as its vice president of human capital. Borg will serve to establish the human resource function at PerfectServe.

Since January, the company headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn., has hired more than 65 new associates—a 60 percent increase over the past six months.

With more than 18 years of human resource experience in health care and life sciences markets, Borg joins PerfectServe from Optum, a global leader in health care information technology and consulting where she served as the senior director of human capital.

While at Optum, Borg led several of the high-growth businesses to include their accountable care solutions and revenue cycle groups, along with consulting and sales and marketing teams. Her primary focus was to partner with senior leadership driving strategic human capital solutions that would lead to stronger employee and team engagement. In addition, she led several change management efforts around the integration of acquired companies and designed solutions that would fuel the growth of hiring and retaining top talent.

Prior to Optum, Borg served as director of talent management with St. Jude Medical. Prior to St. Jude, she served as vice president of human capital for Carol, an early-stage healthcare e-commerce company, and she was president of her own human capital consulting firm specializing in strategic organizational leadership services targeting the life sciences and healthcare marketplace.

Borg holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Minnesota.

“We are honored that Robin is part of PerfectServe because she brings healthcare business experience ranging from early-stage to large publicly traded corporations," said Terry Edwards, president and chief executive officer of PerfectServe. “She will be an excellent addition to our team as we continue our growth and expansion into health systems across the United States. Our ability to hire, develop and retain the best talent is a top priority. And it’s our people who are making PerfectServe the company that is today and what it will be in the future.”
