Novi, MI (PRWEB) June 18, 2012
Rob Emery and Bryan Finnerty, co-founders of ProtectCell, have been selected as honorees in this year’s Crain's Salute to Entrepreneurs recognition program, a Crain’s Detroit Business awards program. ProtectCell, a pioneer in handset protection, was founded in 2006 and has rapidly become one of the fastest growing start-ups in Michigan.
The Salute to Entrepreneurs program recognizes individuals who have grown their business, demonstrated business problem-solving and have an entrepreneurial spirit. Honorees are selected in six award categories, with Emery and Finnerty being recognized in the $30.1 Million to $50 Million revenue category.
“We are proud to be recognized by Crain’s in this manner,” said Emery. “Growing our business in Michigan over the last six years has been exciting and rewarding. Starting with an idea to provide customers with the best handset protection available, and using our own money to get the company off the ground, we have now doubled in revenue each of the last four years.”
“Rob and I both recognize that the success ProtectCell has attained would not have been possible without our employees,” said Finnerty. “We really believed that by creating a work environment that promoted teamwork and creativity we would attract the people who could help the business succeed and that is exactly what happened.”
Emery and Finnerty will be recognized at the Crain’s Salute to Entrepreneurs event on June 26, 2012.
