A new course, approved by the Israel Ministry of Health, is available to physicians for the study of aesthetic treatments, utilizing the human cadaver. The course, offered for the first time in Israel, will be administered by Dr. Monica Elman, an internationally recognized dermatologist and Dr. Eli Raviv, Associate Professor at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Reaction™ by Viora, the leading multi-frequency RF device for skin tightening, body contouring and cellulite reduction will be featured in the course.
The subjects covered include a study of the variety of aesthetic treatments, updates and innovations in the aesthetic industry and the opportunity to conduct experiments on fresh cadavers, providing as realistic a learning experience as possible. Participants will be able to see first-hand histological aspects of the skin and discussions will include an emphasis on providing a solution for anti-aging and addressing aesthetic skin issues.
“This course is groundbreaking for allowing the study of aesthetics with the use of cadavers – the ability to view the affects of new technology will provide a strong base for physicians currently in the aesthetic field, as well as those who are weighing the possibilities of moving toward that direction,” said Dr. Monica Elman.
“As the demand grows for aesthetic treatments, more physicians are entering this field. The opportunity to work with such senior and experienced practitioners is an advantage to any incoming physician,” said Eliran Almog, CEO, Viora Inc. “Drs. Elman and Raviv are to be congratulated for putting together an exceptional program allowing for professionals to address aesthetic medicine from a different perspective. It’s especially exciting for Viora to have Reaction™ integrated into the course so as to introduce the benefits of Reaction™ and the CORE™ technology to aspiring medical aestheticians.”
