Building on the success of the previous release, RPA has added features and refinements driven by its users. On top of the list of value added functionality is an included historian. In cases where an automation system does not have historical services, Watch*IT OPC Express is an inexpensive path to historicizing Distributed Control System (DCS) or Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) System information and trends. The built-in historian is capable of storing up to 90 days of data for any OPC tag.

Watch*IT OPC Express also works with existing Historical Data Access (HDA) compliant historians. This allows the mobile apps to query and display data from either an existing HDA system or from Watch*IT OPC Express’s own built-in historian. Configuration is simple. Simply point Watch*IT OPC Express to a HDA database and register the desired tags. After registration, users can query the tags from the desktop or mobile apps.

•     The WebExpress feature allows Watch*IT OPC to act as a Web Server to display your HMI Pages or the default data display pages in a web browser.
    
•     Store data locally within Watch*IT OPC Express
    
•     Access data from any HDA compliant database
    
•     Watch*IT OPC Mobile Apps for iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry displays shop floor data to most of today’s mobile devices.
