Varsity Monitor, the nationwide leader in social media monitoring for the athletics industry, announced today the acquisition of Centrix Social, proprietor of the Social Verse platform and recognized leader in social media monitoring for the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Via this acquisition, Varsity Monitor increases its overall footprint in the SEC and demonstrates continued growth in this highly competitive space. Financial terms were not disclosed.
