Luminox Hires New USA Team Members

Luminox Watch Company, the original self-powered luminous watch brand, is gearing up for the expanding USA market by making strategic new hires in key departments.

Luminox has appointed Dennis Biggane as National Sales Manager for North America. As Sales Manager, Dennis will be responsible for upgrading and restructuring the distribution with the major US jewelry chains and independent retailers. His experience includes 17 years with TAG-Heuer, as VP of Sales from 1987-2004, developing and growing TAG's business while significantly reducing the points of distribution. Dennis’ experience includes US Wholesale Director of H. Stern and most recently Regional Sales Manager at Pandora Jewelry. “I’m excited about Luminox’s future and I look forward to developing this incredible brand,” said Dennis Biggane.

Luminox has hired Karen Birnie as Marketing Manager for the USA. As Marketing Manager, Karen will be responsible for developing US marketing, increasing brand awareness through social media and supporting US Sales. Prior to Luminox, Karen was the Director of Marketing Communications at Dilithium Networks, responsible for building global branding for mobile video technology. Prior to Dilithium, Karen was the Marketing Manager for DVD software pioneer Daikin US Comtec.

Hanna Shifs joined Luminox in 2010 and has been promoted from Accounts Receivable Manager to Finance Manager for the US Headquarters in San Rafael. Hanna brings ten years of accounting experience working for regional wholesalers and retailers.
