The Town of Holly Springs, situated in North Carolina’s Raleigh-Durham metropolitan statistical area, has seen extraordinary growth over the past decade. As the town’s economy and population continue to expand, its security and surveillance requirements have increased, especially in and around town buildings.
After consideration of several IP Video Surveillance platforms, the Town of Holly Springs decided to deploy ipConfigure’s Enterprise Surveillance Manager (ESM). ipConfigure is no stranger to government installations; many of the features within ESM and the License Plate Recognition application were developed to meet the specific needs and requirements of federal and government clients. In addition to ipConfigure’s experience in city-wide surveillance, Jeff Wilson, IT Director for the Town of Holly Springs, was impressed with the interface and ease of use. “Our users really like the interface, and from the administrator’s side, I like having the ability to limit which cameras users can see and what functionality they are allowed,” says Jeff.
Wilson also notes that implementing the software was simple, and support for the application has exceeded expectations. Continual software improvements based on customer feedback will ensure that the Town of Holly Springs is a long-time ipConfigure customer.
