It’s officially wedding season. Spirit Capture Portrait artist Robbi Firestone announces an intimate, timeless gift for the bride this wedding season. To Robbi Firestone, making wedding gifts is an art...the fine art of oil portraits. What is the half-life of a usual wedding gift for a future wife, or daughter? Posing for an oil portrait by Robbi Firestone is a gift in itself. During a sitting, Firestone enables her clients to share their life, spirit and experience, captured on canvas forever in an archival quality oil portrait for her children and grandchildren.
Artist Robbi Firestone, founder of Spirit Capture Portraits, specializes in creating colorful, vibrant oil portraits, which capture her client’s physical likeness and evoke inner life. Portraying the spirit of her clients in her oil portraits captivates Firestone.
Firestone herself is currently preparing for her own wedding taking place on June 19th. Firestone and her Fiancé met on an Alaskan cruise and were engaged at the Esalen Institute, co-founded by one of Firestones clients, Michael Murphy.
Firestone’s wedding ceremony will take place in San Miguel Chapel which is claimed to be the oldest church in the United States; built between approximately 1610 and 1626.. The music at the ceremony is being designed by a Metropolitan Opera Singer Deoborah Domanski The wrist art for corsages will all be designed by artist Nanette Colby, and Firestone’s gown is a Badgley Mischka Couture.
Firestone knows that is not just the day of the wedding that is important to brides, which is why her wedding will be a 3 day celebration ranging from the 16th to the culmination on the 19th. The reception is being held in a Relais & Chateaux in Santa Fe; a luxury hotel and boutique. Also, in lieu of a rehearsal dinner, Firestone will host a Burning Man party for guests to attend. All in all, the wedding will be a 3-day party.
Brides can visit Firestone's studios easily. With a studio outside Seattle WA, Firestone is opening an additional studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2012, which will be only blocks from Canyon Road on Old Santa Fe Trail, In addition, she'll travel to the bride for the sitting, to make it convenient for a family holiday weekend
Robbi Firestone looks forward to honoring brides this wedding season by capturing their spirit in an archival quality oil portrait cherished for generations to come.
A Robbi Firestone oil Portrait gives a bride a once in a lifetime experience, honors her spirit, and enters the life of everyone who sees it; a meaningful gift for a bride and a way to make her remember her most important day for eternity. This year clients can give their daughter of future wife something that truly moves and honors her.
