PocketGuide, a Budapest-based startup previously funded by Finext has added three destinations to bring its total of global destinations to 78 cities.
The PocketGuide mobile app, available on the iPhone App Store and Android Market allows travelers to turn a smartphone into a personal tour guide.
"No other app on the market can guide you by voice like a good friend in a foreign city full of local knowledge," says PocketGuide founder Martin Retai. "PocketGuide feels like a personal tour guide walking by your side in 78 cities across the globe."
PocketGuide, which works without roaming charges or WiFi connection, plans to move to its global headquarters from Budapest, Hungary to the US this year.
