Iventus Digital launched a multi-tiered digital campaign on behalf of H2O Plus debuting a modern new look while evoking a new brand experience by providing customers a playground to experience the brand and products in bold new ways. Building upon 20 plus years of heritage in skincare innovation, this iconic brand has made a concerted investment in rebranding the company and its products. After carefully exploring a variety of communication avenues, the power of using a digital platform was revealed and Iventus Digital was tasked with taking the rebranding assignment digitally. The campaign reintroduces and more broadly serves as an invitation for skincare consumers to experience the new contemporized H2O Plus brand.

Iventus Digital created the Under The Surface rebranding campaign born out the strategy to evolve the H2O Plus’ communication arc from being product-centric to an emotive-centric model by bringing a new dynamic that would shift [modernize] perception and elevate the brand. The campaign is deliberately designed to deliver emotional triggers that evoke a greater sense of passion for the H2O Plus brand and greater indulgence for its products. The microsite offers a virtual journey that engages consumers to embark upon an exploration of the majestic powers of the oceans on the brand’s first-ever skincare scavenger hunt. Over the course of seven-weeks visitors can opt in and be submersed in a beautiful underwater playground filled with branded content and programming that will allow them to learn about H2O Plus’ new look and tour its products while vying for free product giveaways, free shipping and a $500 H2O Plus gift card. As an enhancement to the virtual tour, visitors are invited to take a marine vacation quiz for a chance to win a $10,000 Ultimate Ocean Adventure for two at one of three exotic destinations: Bali, Hawaii or the Galapagos Islands.

This campaign leverages the brand’s core equities and communicates a sense of elegance and purpose H2O Plus’ new positioning The Science of Marine Skincare by engulfing visitors in an underwater tour that educates, entertains and rewards and mobilizes consumers into action. The campaign is designed to reach consumers using all digital channels and mobile and social platforms, as well as through in-store and personalized email communications.
