In her new book “It’s 4 uMom: Building Relationships through Every Stage of Mothering” (published by CrossBooks), Josie Aenis shares insights about her mom’s outreach group, offering readers a step-by-step guide to initiate similar programs.

Aenis, who leads a community resource program, has found that mothers face tremendous pressure each day, and her book offers them the support and encouragement that she feels they deserve. “It’s 4 uMom” is based on the outreach initiative she founded at her church, and it offers advice for how other churches can set up similar programs – based on the principles of prayer and what Aenis calls “… direction from the Holy Spirit to help church women become soul winners.”

“I had done another type of moms group in my church,” says Aenis, “but I wanted to open the door wider to community moms and invite any mom to join us regardless of the age of their children.”

Tom Messer, senior pastor at Trinity Baptist Church, attests to Aenis’ program, saying:

“For several years Josie Aenis led our preschool ministry here at Trinity Baptist Church and through her experience developed the program, “It’s 4 U Mom,” which has been a huge success in our ministry.

The program is effective in helping to reach mothers and connect them to healthy ministry and mentors. I highly recommend the program and am grateful for the passion and energy that Josie brings to helping women in ministry.”

“It’s 4 uMom” is available through most major booksellers.
