San Francisco, CA & New York, NY (PRWEB) June 19, 2012
LocalResponse, an intent based advertising network that provides brands with the ability to target users based on real-time social media expressions, today announces a major company milestone. As a result of powering mobile and PC based campaigns for household name brands such as Coca-Cola, General Motors, Walgreens and others, the company now claims it serves more than 7 billion social ad impressions per month.
In addition to this major milestone, LocalResponse announces the opening of a West Coast office in San Francisco, led by newly hired ad executive, Jennifer Bennett, formerly of Google and AdMob, who will lead the company's regional sales efforts. In related news, the company also added Nat Turner to its advisory board. Nat is the founder of Invite Media, a demand-side ad platform, which recently sold to Google for $70 million.
“It’s exciting to be part of the veteran team at LocalResponse, which has developed a truly unique method of targeting that enables brands tailor messages to consumers based on intent expressed via social media channels,” said Jennifer Bennett. “The company’s platform and analytics dashboard is exactly what the multi-billion dollar digital display advertising industry has needed, and it’s great to represent a company that tackles this problem head on to help brands boost conversion rates and achieve greater returns on their campaigns.”
Through LocalResponse’s ad display platform, brands and advertisers can now mine unique data sets across any number of public-facing social media sites, allowing any merchant to target a social media user’s behavior such as check-ins, status updates, photos, tweets, retweets, as well as location-based “intent.”
The company, founded in April 2011, currently works with multiple Fortune 500 companies and has several new deals in the pipeline that they plan to announce in the coming months.
“Jennifer’s hire is a major coup for our company and we’re very much energized by bringing her on board to lead our west coast sales team and contribute to what we see as a tremendous growth opportunity for both our company and our network,” said Kathy Leake, president and co-founder, LocalResponse.
Prior to joining LocalResponse, Jennifer was the Mobile Head of Display for Technology Accounts at Google, where she led a national sales team focused on developing mobile display advertising for top accounts. Prior to Google, Jennifer was the Director of Sales for the Pacific Northwest at AdMob, where she helped build the company into the leader in mobile advertising before its acquisition by Google in May 2010 for $750 million.
