The program utilizes the latest research on organizational development, change management, and performance improvement, and provides relevant learning that enables students to make immediate, valuable impacts in their workplaces.
“This program takes students’ skills beyond designing and delivering workplace and organizational learning programs, and moves them toward becoming strategic business partners in their organizations,” said Thomas Chermack, Ph.D., organizational performance and change assistant professor. “These skills give students the capacity to deliver custom improvement interventions that make teams, processes, and organizations function more effectively.”
Students gain the skills and knowledge to tackle complex, ambiguous, and ill-defined organizational problems that require critical, creative, and reflective thinking. Through action learning projects, they’ll use real organizational scenarios to develop potential solutions to compound problems involving human expertise, interaction, and performance.
