Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) June 21, 2012
Akaibu, Inc., the archive data migration solution specialists, today announced migration support for data migration from archive systems to Microsoft® Exchange and Office 365 email systems. This capability augments the Akaibu Evolve platform support for on-premise to on-premise archive migration as well as on-premise to cloud archives such as Symantec® Enterprise Vault.com and Mimecast®.
“Organizations are looking for approaches to move data from existing to new environments to enhance the usability and accessibility of their data,” states Mary Kay Roberto, CEO of Akaibu. “A primary obstacle to accomplishing such moves has been a lack of reliable, secure, and high performance software and Akaibu is expanding to address more options for data migration and to fulfill this requirement.”
Also available in this release are enhanced capabilities to provide a safety net for assuring no data is left behind in a migration. Akaibu Evolve has added a ‘rediscover’ process to clean up the source archive if a user’s archive was inadvertently not turned off after it was migrated. The rediscover process also allows for adjustments in date ranges for information entering the target archive giving an organization more flexibility as it performs the migration.
