The Black Rabbits was formed on a hot winters night in Orlando by Jetson Black. Little did he know at the time that what he was creating would take on the essence of that warm winter night. "Our music is a bit of an oxymoron," says lead vocalist Jetson. "It's loud yet soft, edgy yet pure, it has retro elements and modern ones, it's both serious and playful at the same time." The group accompanies a mix of classic and alternative indie rock elements with influences such as The Who, The Pixies, The White Stripes, and The Doors.
In early 2010, still virtually unknown, the band released their first debut EP produced by Billy Chapin and Stan Lynch of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The EP peaked at #96 on the CMJ TOP 200 and stayed around for over two months along side huge bands such as The Flaming Lips.
Flash forward to 2012 the band has split up and now finally pieced together a starting cast of perfect new members. They are excited to be recording new music which Jetson says he will be releasing right on Airsee.com in the following weeks.
"Airsee is excited to have an artist as talented as Jetson Black hosting shows and we can't wait to show the world all of our bands they have been missing", says Tally Show Co-Founder of Airsee.
Airsee.com is the best way for Musicians and Artists to perform and interact with a live audience of their followers real-time using Internet. The San Jose based company is in the business of broadcasting live to a large audience and interacting with them live.
Since its start Airsee has been using its platform with Artists such as Annie Automatic, Mike Peralta, and The Black Rabbits to rave reviews, and it is now opening the gates to all Artists who are interested in promoting themselves through internet video and social media. With Airsee each Artist is given a personalized URL which is their channel to host live interactions with their fans and Twitter followers.
