The invitation-only conference spanned was only open to current clients and members of the press.
Six Creative Industry experts were on hand to present to the Workamajig clients their advice on how to streamline processes for the creative organization. Much of their advice is already incorporated in The Workamajig Way, which is Workamajig's holistic approach to managing the processes of the creative organization.
The speakers and their expertise included:
David Drucker, Vice President, Manager of Agency Services of Strata Group (http://www.StrataG.com), presented information about the Strata media buying and management software application, its direct connection to Workamajig, and the current status of media.
Shel Perkins, President of Shel Perkins & Associates (http://www.ShelPerkins.com), discussed project management issues, and current status of copyright / fair use issues and how the intellectual property laws affect the creative industry today. Blair Enns, from Win Without Pitching (http://www.WinWithoutPitching.com), presented his insights on Client Relationship Management and different ways that creative services are being offered. Blair's Win Without Pitching approach has been incorporated into The Workamajig Way.
Tony Mikes, President of Second Wind Ltd (http://www.SecondWindOnline.com), educated the Workamajig group on financial management of agencies, showing its history to present day.
Vanessa Edwards, President of Creative Performance (http://CreativelyPerform.com), was on hand to talk about the importance of mapping people, technology, and workflow.
Connie Burtcheard, from Agency ADvisor (http://www.AgencyAdvisor.com), presented information about agency workflow and predictive cost management.
