The men’s accessory industry is gearing up for a fight. The traditionally staid industry of cufflinks, tie clips, money clips, lapel pins and more is facing potential irrelevance from a stiff new challenger in the space called SnapLNX. Invented and made in the USA, SnapLNX is the world’s first and only all-in-one men’s accessory. Utilizing a unique InvisaHinge system, SnapLNX combines the functions of all major accessories into a single device. With the stainless steel invention accomplishing the functions of all men’s accessories, traditional single-function accessories are facing obsolescence.
“We’re going to totally reshape the men’s accessory industry,” says SnapLNX founder and CEO Alfred English. “When you think about it, they haven’t innovated in decades if not longer. My grandfather has an antique money clip that looks just like the ones sold today at Nordstrom. With the launch of SnapLNX, consumers will finally see what a new men’s accessory looks like.”
SnapLNX’ InvisaHinge system is the reason behind the Santa Monica company’s bravado. Incorporating springs made by the same company that makes springs for NASA, the patent-pending system embeds a spring-loaded lever into the body of the clip. When engaged, the lever disappears, becoming entirely flush with the body of the clip and providing a 360 sealed edge. The technology makes SnapLNX the world’s first spring-loaded clip without any protruding levers or edges.
Early endorsers of the product include Mike Tyson and Luke Reichle, the stylist for hit shows Castle and CSI Miami.
Launched in January of this year, SnapLNX is gearing up for their first run at retail stores. Represented by the Lynn Mitchell Group at the L.A. Mart, the company is inviting top LA retailers to the showroom for the upcoming Gift Show in July.
