Charleston, IL (PRWEB) June 21, 2012
A brand new monthly news magazine is coming to east-central Illinois, and local politicians should start burning incriminating documents. The first issue of Disclosure Heartland is set to come off the presses on July 9, 2012. It will feature in-depth reporting on crime and corruption, the kind of hard-hitting news your parents grew up on, with an eye on promoting local business and culture.
Disclosure Heartland is an independent franchise of southern Illinois’ own Disclosure, specifically tailored to the discerning readers of east-central Illinois. Its current coverage area includes Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, and Edgar counties, reaching a combined population of more than 119,000. The inaugural issue is scheduled to come off the presses on July 9 and delivered to area vendors on July 10 and 11th.
The original Disclosure began publication in March 2003 as a monthly news product featuring information about southeastern Illinois. It was not designed to compete with local mainstream newspapers, but to supplement them. The print version of Disclosure provides news analysis, not breaking news. Disclosure tells the stories that local mainstream daily or weekly news products refuse or are afraid to tell.
Disclosure Heartland will continue this proud tradition.
