New Children’s Book Carries a Spiritual Message

Author Laurin Kyle Boyle uses boy and his dog to teach readers about peace, love and balance

Whistler, British Columbia (PRWEB) June 21, 2012

“Yoga” and “meditation” teacher and spiritual minister Laurin Kyle Boyle adapts the spiritual teachings she practices every day into her new children’s book “The Little Dog Who Stopped Traffic” (published by Trafford Publishing). It is a book she hopes readers will use to transform their consciousness to one of peace and love – to be aligned with their true nature.

“The Little Dog Who Stopped Traffic” is a story of a little boy and a wise dog who awaken an entire city to what is truly important. Through their misadventures in the big city, they set off a chain of events that turns what could have been a disastrous day into a miraculous day.

Kyle Boyle’s inspiration is a story in and of itself. “I was flying from Montreal to Vancouver, and this story came to me in full before I landed,” she says. “I quickly wrote it out on arrival, but then did nothing with it until my niece asked me when I was going to write the book. I decided that I would write it because she asked me to and so it became a labor of love.”

Communicating her ideas through the format of a children’s book is no easy task, but it is one Kyle Boyle feels is important for her to complete. “Everyone is so busy doing that they have lost touch with their being. Stress is the signal we are out of alignment and that we must learn to relax and get back in touch with our peaceful, loving nature as human beings.”
