New Jersey based Quality Technology Solutions has been a leading information technology consulting firm for more than 20 years. In that time, the company has seen dramatic changes in the IT landscape. But, as its growth has demonstrated, QTS continues to be on the leading edge in helping customers adopt better solutions. This success has made QTS the subject of a Cloud Innovators profile at wsj.com.
Founder, President and CEO Neil Rosenberg has overseen the growth of the company through some of the most far-reaching explosions in the business computing market.
“Everything 20 years ago was largely DOS based, and Windows was not market dominant like it is today, nor was Office,” Rosenberg said. “Nobody had any idea what a cloud was. Not many people knew what servers and the Internet were. As the technology changed, our relationship got closer and closer with Microsoft as it became clear that their platform was really the key enabler for many businesses.”
That relationship with Microsoft has been a key factor in the growth that QTS has enjoyed over the past two decades.
“As a systems integrator and a Microsoft Partner, our value is in bringing expertise to customers so that they don’t have internalize it all,” Rosenberg said. “Our relatively unique value proposition is that we do that very well. We bring that expertise to the customer to expand the capabilities of the team and do it in a collaborative manner with stored knowledge transfer.”
Because of its close relationship with Microsoft, QTS is able to keep a close engagement, while working with its customers to drive the cloud and the integration of Microsoft products.
“We started the company in 1992 with the goal that we’ve held to ever since — of really helping customers to build high quality technology solutions for their businesses, Rosenberg said. “It has always been about helping customers make the right choices and set out on the right strategy with a long-term vision of what they want to accomplish and how technology will help them.”
