SUR/FIN 2012 was recently held at the South Point Hoteal and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The annual event draws metal finishers and related industry personal from around the world for a week of conferences, presentations, and exhibits.
Witt Lining Systems returned as an exhibitor this year and company president, Andrew Hotchkies, views the show as a success. "I saw a wide geographic range of attendees and many of them new to our product line", said Hotchkies. "When you have something unique, like our Koroseal drop in tank liners, it can create a good amount of interest in a show like this" he added.
In discussing his company's results at the show, Hotchkies commented, "People in the industry know that this is where they can come and see solutions to their problems. We offer the best product in our industry. By providing a long lasting product, we offer a lower operating cost. At a show like SUR/FIN, we get the opportunity to show and explain how our product is better than anything else being offered and how our liners provide a low service cost benefit."
SUR/FIN 2012 represented the 94th conference as currently produced by NASF (National Association for Metal Finishing). It is recognized as the most prominent source for information on metal finishing in North America. At the conclusion of SUR/FIN 2012, it was announced that SUR/FIN 2013 will take place in Rosemont, IL.
