Ms. Pam Koester, principal of the Board Governance consulting firm of Koester & Associates, has recently announced the expansion of services to include Elder Mediation and Aging Services.

Elder Mediation is a non-litigation option for people who have a conflict relating to the care of an elderly family member. “Often, simply just having an impartial person facilitating the conversation will lead to positive outcomes for the parties,” says Ms. Koester, a social gerontologist and trained mediator.

Aging Services include consulting and coaching for people who have age related issues such as those involving elderly parents, siblings’ communication breakdowns, as well as preparation for one’s own next transition in life. “It’s amazing how minimally people think about, and plan for, aging whether it be for their elderly parents or themselves. Needs will change with age, and the more prepared one is – the better.” Ms. Koester helps people with all types of age related issues.
