New York, NY (PRWEB) June 21, 2012
Trespa North America, a leading architectural materials supplier, has announced a series of new initiatives and investments — including moving its headquarters from California to the highly successful Trespa Design Centre located in New York City — that will increase the company’s standing as the foremost supplier of high-pressure compact laminate (HPL) decorative panels for both interior and exterior building applications.
Trespa International, the parent company of Trespa North America, sees the North American market as a rapidly expanding segment of the global market for their cladding solutions, and has committed to expanding its subsidiary's presence in the market. This means that Trespa North America will not only increase the size of its field sales staff, but will expand its internal sales support structure as well.
“By providing our sales team with the resources they need,” says Remon Veraart, Director – Americas for Trespa, “we ensure that our clients recognize the Trespa brand as a valuable resource to realize their architectural ideas. With the recent deployment of the newest, state of the art Customer Relationship Management System, we now have a global structure to provide real-time information to everyone in the organization about projects and customers around the world."
Meeting Client Needs
“This visibility will allow us to provide thorough service and quality support to both national and international clients,” continues Veraart. “The investment in the firm’s sales and service functions, both in resources and technology, will be structured to keep pace with Trespa’s expanding market share.”
As Trespa has continued to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients, the decision was made to move Trespa North America's headquarters from San Diego to New York City, in support of the company’s continued commitment to quality of service and to taking a leadership role in the architectural and construction marketplaces. Part of that decision was to co-locate the new headquarters within the popular Trespa Design Centre.
Located in Soho, the Trespa Design Centre serves not only as a showroom for Trespa products, but also as a popular venue for design-related events, lectures and gatherings. By tying the company's brand to the enjoyable, sophisticated gatherings and occasions for continuing education or major design industry announcements, Trespa North America has now increased its brand’s association with market leadership – and industry firsts.
Branding for the Future
A recent example of the growing popularity and draw of the Soho showroom was the successful execution of Trespa’s first Corporate Identity Design summit. More than a dozen leading architects from around the country came for the three-day event, titled "Building Brand: Architecture and Corporate Identity," which featured project presentations, panel discussions and a lively roundtable, all of which focused on how the design profession can build spaces that support the branding missions of their commercial clients.
The Trespa Design Centre has also recently introduced a lecture/presentation series called “Visionaries,” which brings the work of groundbreaking and forward-thinking architects to the New York City design community, and beyond. In addition, Trespa hosts educational events every month; the popular “Third Thursdays” series informs architects about new developments and design trends in the industry.
In response to the resounding success of the Trespa Design Centre in Soho, Trespa International has opened two new global Design Centres: one in Barcelona, Spain, and the other in Santiago, Chile. The proximity of these Design Centres to the market is consistent with the company’s mission to provide inspiration and innovation in exterior cladding and to build long-term relationships with the architectural community.
More Initiatives Planned
In addition to the increased focus on Trespa’s client services and support, 2012 will also see additions to Trespa's Meteon product line. These exciting product innovations in response to current and future trends will include new colors, new finishes and an expansion of the Trespa uni-color, metallic and wood-grain product lines.
Trespa International will also roll out a new website in the coming months, with a new look and feel, increased functionality, and improved access for clients in need of support via the Internet.
“There are other significant new developments to come,” says Veraart. “Our customers and architects around the country can expect to hear more this summer from Trespa, the leader in architectural cladding.”
