Dr. Thompson received her Ph.D. and M.S. from Kansas State University with emphasis in Food Microbiology. She also holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Kansas State University. Her graduate research work included the evaluation of the use of natural antimicrobials in food products for the control of various food pathogens. Dr. Thompson’s educational background combined with over 10 years of practical industry experience, offers AFTL clients a truly exceptional experience. Dr. Thompson ensures that sound science prevails.
