Seoul, Korea (PRWEB) June 26, 2012

INFINITT Healthcare(http://www.infinitt.com), a leading developer of image and information management technologies for healthcare, announced on June 20, 2012 that it has contracted with Kyung Hee University Medical Center (KHUMC) to provide Infinitt software on a ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) platform.

INFINITT Smart Service™, the next generation PACS service model, allows the customer to use any application in the Infinitt portfolio, without purchase or upfront licensing costs. The contract is based on monthly payments and also includes proactive monitoring, all system maintenance during the contract period and ongoing software upgrades.

This contract with KHMC is important to INFINITT Healthcare because it is the first contract of its kind with a large-scale medical center with more than one thousand patient beds. KHMC is the only medical center in the world where medical, dental, oriental medical, pharmacy and nursing departments coexist in one facility.

INFINITT Healthcare has provided previous versions of its products to KHMC since 2002. KHMC decided to adopt the Smart Service delivery model to keep pace with the rapid advancements in medical technology and to improve the quality of diagnosis. In particular, the latest web-based PACS enables medical centers to share images with others and utilize remote interpretation services which will shorten time to diagnosis and ultimately raise patients’ satisfaction level.

Chang Jin Cha, the executive director of INFINITT domestic market, said “Currently, INFINITT Healthcare provides Smart Service to more than a hundred domestic and foreign customers. We expect to provide the service to many large-scale hospitals and clinics starting with KHMC. We constantly strive to increase the value of our products and services for our customers.”
