The new Halo 4 Game will have noticeable fewer Limited Edition copies for sale than its predecessors, meaning that those who intend to purchase the bonus edition of the game will need to pre-order a copy as soon as possible.
Halo4news.org, the leading web resource for the latest news on the Halo 4 game, explained that the games’ developer 343 Industries had confirmed the news earlier this week.
Leading sources from 343 industries have confirmed that only a small percentage of the total units manufactured will be limited edition. The limited edition version of the game is said to offer many enhanced features over the regular version, including additional multiplayer maps, a UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet, and Specializations unlocks, features that will offer a much improved experience for the most serious of Halo fans.
Here’s a full rundown of what’s included in the Halo 4 Limited Edition Pack:
Access to War Games Map Pack: The Limited Edition version of Halo 4 will have access to a total nine additional maps, available for download on Xbox LIVE once the game has been launched.
Specializations: Specializations will be available to everybody, but Limited Edition gamers will gain the ability to unlock a total of six specializations earlier than other gamers, from the day the game launches on Xbox LIVE. This bonus feature will allow experienced gamers to access new ranks faster, and unlock new customizations within the game.
UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet: This bonus feature includes additional information about UNSC Weapons, Spartan Armor customization schematics, and a guide to the UNCS Infinity Starship, as well as a new insight into the finest warriors known to humanity – the Spartan IV’s.
In addition to the above, Halo4news.org can reveal that the limited edition version of the game will also include a 90-minute extended version of the Halo 4 live action digital series, which details the origins of the Halo story, beginning with the original Human/Covenant war.
As well, there are expected to be many, as yet unknown benefits that will only be available to limited edition Halo 4 gamers.
Dan Lim, Chief Editor of Halo4news.org, said that the news whereby 343 Industries will only be offering a small number of limited edition versions of the game means that anyone serious about buying a copy would need to pre-order the game soon:
“Let’s face it, there is going to be a lot of demand for this. Hardcore Halo fans may well want to act now to avoid disappointment. We haven’t played the game yet – no one has, but we believe that the limited edition copy will be well worth the investment. For those new to Halo however, it’s probably not necessary to buy the limited edition just yet.”
343 Industries have set the release date for Halo 4 for November 6 this year. The limited edition version can be pre-order at major game retailers, at the cost of $99.99.
