Annese & Associates, Inc. scored enough points in the first round of the Social Madness corporate challenge to land among the top 8 medium size companies who moved onto the next phase of the competition. Annese has decided to take a charitable approach in growing its social networks through the duration of Round 2 which kicked off on Tuesday.
The company has stated it will donate $1 for every vote and new social network connection it obtains through Round 2’s four week run. The winning charity will be chosen at random from a list of suggestions that voters/followers submit.
Social Madness is a national social media competition sponsored by The American City Business Journals. Winners of local competitions in 43 U.S. markets will advance to the national forum and three winners will be named in September. The competition was designed to help companies improve and expand their social media presence. Companies accumulate points through a blend of votes and growth on company-owned Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn sites.
