Krossover, the innovator in providing affordable, easy-to-use data analytics for high school and college sports programs nationwide, today announced the addition of the seasoned technology app developer Dalmo Fellows Cirne to the Krossover team as Director of Mobile. Dalmo, an award winning software engineer, comes to Krossover with a proven track record of success, with roles previously at ESPN where he was the lead developer of the mobile team, and at Starwood Hotels, where he served as the Director of Mobile.
“Coaches today want to access and review game statistics while they’re on the move – whether on the sideline of a game, traveling to the arena, or wherever they may be,” said Vasu Kulkarni, founder and CEO of Krossover. “Dalmo is one of the most accomplished and respected developers in mobile apps for sports and we’re thrilled to have him.”

Dalmo’s hire is the latest Krossover announcement in a number of key developments for the company in 2012. Earlier this spring, Krossover announced the availability of its new and innovative “virtual film room,” which enables coaches to upload their game film and then provide access to their entire team and staff from any mobile device or web browser. Krossover also announced this year that it had raised $3.5 million in angel funding in 2011 and, in addition, the company launched its lacrosse vertical, with a football service offering on the horizon.
Krossover, a New York City-based startup, is a virtual video coordinator that provides sophisticated data analytics technology to the sports world. With an intuitive online platform easily accessible by thousands of high school and college programs, Krossover enables coaches to use video to improve the success of their athletic programs by eliminating the time and financial impediments to managing their filmed content. With an estimated 95% of high school and college athletic programs now recording game video, Krossover is accelerating the use of indexed, on-demand video content by programs of all sizes.
