There must be something in the Sam Adams beer in Boston, Massachusetts that inspires technology based start-ups amongst the huge student population.
First came Bill Gates with Microsoft, then Mark Zuckerberg with Facebook and now a site that is set to revolutionize the way businesses source advertising music and jingles.
This huge global market is dominated by the large music houses that charge clients thousands of dollars for advertising jingles and music for their businesses.
Now a new crowd-sourcing website theJingleWorks.com is set to take this market by storm. Businesses can start a jingle competition for as little as $275.00 and choose a royalty free jingle or short piece of music for their TV and Radio advertising. Competitions can attract hundreds of entries written by talented composers registered to The Jingle Works. Imagine having something as powerful and memorable as McDonald's "I'm Loving It" powering your business advertising for as little as $275.00.
The Jingle Works website was the brainchild of Tom Harrison, himself a composer and recent degree level graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA. This young British musician realized that he and his fellow composers needed an easier route to market for their work. He came up with the original idea for The Jingle Works in a chance conversation with his father, Gary Harrison, whilst back in Scotland on vacation. Together they formed thejingleworks.com and launched it amongst the Berklee students and alumni with over 100 registering as jingle composers in the first week alone. The number of composers continues its meteoric rise and the first raft of competitions are currently being launched.
TheJingleWorks.com is ready to revolutionize the advertising jingle business and bring the power of crowd-sourcing to the global advertising market. For more information please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
