For fun, guests of all ages will enjoy playing chess and checkers in the new, larger than life-size games on the Beach Pavilion floor.

Guests of all ages are sure to be thrilled by the acrobatics of the Florida State University Flying High Circus as they perform at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Leon Jacobs, the one man band, will entertain guests at 4:30 p.m. and the dancing will continue to the classic beach music of the Swinging Medallions at 7:30 p.m. The anticipated patriotic fireworks finale will shoot off at approximately 9:30 p.m.

In addition, Robin Lake Beach offers guests a number of activities for a fee including Aqua Island, Blaster Boats, Light Striker Laser Tag, waterskiing, tubing, wakeboarding and lessons, rock climbing wall, spider jump, flying trapeze, and the massive Xcelerator waterslide. A limited number of beach umbrellas with chair and towels are available for rent as well as semi-private cabanas overlooking Robin Lake Beach. And, not to be overlooked, are the traditional Robin Lake Beach games of miniature golf, table tennis, shuffleboard.

At some time during a visit, guests definitely want to check out TreeTop Adventure*, a course in the tree canopy featuring a combination of aerial challenges and zip lines located adjacent to the Callaway Discovery Center. Reservations are required. The cost is $30 per person, who must be 54” tall and wear closed-toe shoes.

July 4th admission is $25/adult; $12.50/child age 6-12; Children 5 and younger are admitted for free. Tax is included. Annual passholders and military personnel, with valid active duty or retired identification, can enter this special event for half-price. Admission includes access to the Gardens attractions from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Star Spangled Beach Party festivities at Robin Lake from 7 a.m. until the fireworks finale. The Robin Lake Beach entrance is on U. S. Hwy. 27.

Rest and relax this Fourth of July by staying overnight. Guests can choose lodging from the Mountain Creek Inn, relaxing Southern Pine Cottages, or secluded Mountain Creek Villas. The special July 4th Star Spangled Beach Party overnight package includes lodging, admission to the Gardens and Beach and breakfast in the Plant Room.
