Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP announced that Frank A. Oliverio joins the firm as a partner in the Product Liability and Toxic Tort Litigation practice groups, based in the firm's West Virginia office. Oliverio, who has a specialty in Asbestos, brings a notable amount of experience in insurance defense.
Oliverio, prior to joining the Firm, served as national counsel for a leading global security and aerospace company where he assisted managing the defense of over 50,000 plaintiffs' claims in a multi-state region. Oliverio earned his B.S. in business and M.A. in public administration from West Virginia University, studied law at Magdalen College, Oxford University and graduated from Creighton University College of Law.
Oliverio most recently worked for West Virginia University's Mountaineer Athletic Club, raising money throughout West Virginia and the East Coast to support the university's athletic teams. During his time with the MAC, Oliverio assisted with the organization raising over $60 million. He has also been widely recognized as a leader throughout West Virginia due to his political campaigning efforts and fundraising for a variety of candidates.
