Kaufman Lynn Contracted to Build ‘Signature at Doral’ Apartments

On June 1, 2012 Kaufman Lynn Construction broke ground at a 16.6 acre site in Doral, FL, to start building a new housing project for CC Residential. As part of this $27.5 million negotiated contract, Kaufman Lynn Construction will build eight market-rate apartment buildings (352 units) and a 12,000 sq ft. clubhouse around a lake.

Contracting with Kaufman Lynn Construction for this type of project, CC Residential will gain the benefit of the expertise of Frank White, Vice President of Kaufman Lynn Construction and his team. As a seasoned construction executive, White has successfully directed more than $1.1 billion in housing developments, overseeing projects from conceptual site planning and budgeting, through design, to turnover and occupancy. “We’re looking forward to working with CC Residential to finish these apartments,” said White. “Our goal is to exceed expectations and build living facilities that both CC Residential and the City of Doral will be proud of.”

Kaufman Lynn Construction has previously completed several multifamily housing projects all over Florida and provided CC Residential with preconstruction pricing for this project in November of last year.

Overall construction for the new “Signature at Doral” (Lakeside) is expected to be completed by Aug. 27, 2013. The first building will be ready for move-in by early February 2013.
