LED Grow Lights got a rocky start during the mid 2000's until one company stepped up to the plate and took their capabilities to the next level. In an interview with company president Cammie Mckenzie, she commented "For a long while now Hydro Grow has had all of its information spread out on various sites around the web making it difficult for our customers to find it all. Our new interactive site was designed to change that and put all of our information, articles, videos, and grow journals in one easy-to-find location." According to Mckenzie the new site has taken over 6 months to design and upload, and there are still a few pages scheduled for revision. Once completed she hopes the new site will be a "beacon of light" for the LED Grow Light industry which has been tarnished with a wealth of misinformation from competitors.
The new Hydro Grow site takes advantage of recent relations formed with Dutch Passion Seed Company who announced two new world records achieved under Hydro Grow LED Grow Lights in late 2011 and early 2012. According to Mckenzie "we are very proud of the results obtained with our products and are ecstatic to be accredited by a company like Dutch Passion who is well-respected in our industry. Our two new records prove that Hydro Grow is at the forefront of a multi-billion dollar industry with products that are unable to be beat." Customers can view the articles written by Dutch Passion via numerous links on the new site, as well as watch the videos of the grow tests that established the new records.
The new Hydro Grow site seems highly geared towards convincing customers "you don't need to look anywhere else". From any product page the customer is able to navigate to the new grow journals section where they can review independent grow tests performed by other Hydro Grow customers, giving more credibility to the Hydro Grow products. Customers can also navigate through an in-depth product development history, or read numerous reviews about the incredible performance of Hydro Grow lights without leaving the product page. With two new world records added into the mix on top of their beautiful new site, it seems Hydro Grow will continue to lead the LED Grow Light industry which has been in desperate need of a better image.
